"Our third stay at the hotel. It’s easy to find with on site parking. We like the location, in the docks where there is plenty to see and do, but still not far into the city centre. The staff are always friendly and helpful always ready to talk to you and suggest places to visit. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel has a pool and sauna which we enjoy to relax in. We always find the breakfast to have a wonderful variety of different dishes, the hot items kept warm and regularly replenished. The surrounding area has plenty to see and do within easy walking distance, with a variety of different restaurants. We travel up from Derbyshire for relaxing city breaks and plan to return as we always feel relaxed and recharged after a visit."

"Sadly Dolby house didn't have a lift, but the very helpful woman on reception carried my case up to the second floor. Staff we all very friendly and helpful."

"Amazing experince room was fantastic, loved the jaccuzzi, bed was comfortable, little noisy with the train station next door otherwise great, staff were great and welcoming, an gave us complememtry drinks as was our wedding anniversary"

"The location is 5 mins walk from the centre, we only stayed for 1 one night so it was convenient however would we stay for another few nights? Maybe not. For a 4* hotel the bed had stains, there's no fridge in the room and there's no coffee machine! Compared to other 4* hotel we stayed at, this one is definitely outdated! Overall for 1 night it's okay as it's conveniently situated but would definitely not stay again as the room we stayed in was quite noisy on the first floor. "

"Very enjoyable stay with my 2 cats as we was visiting The Supreme cat show in Liverpool the following day. The room was pretty warm and could do with Air con. But all in all a comfortable stay."

"Overall, we had a good stay. The hotel is located in a perfect spot. Easy to get to most sites. The room was a good size however the bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress was very hard and it probably should be replaced soon. Parking was very easy and affordable for a city, the hotel offers a discount if you use the parking lot they recommend. They put water in the room for you each day, which was a very nice touch. "
