"Weird automated check-in. I saw only one other person in my two nights in the hotel but it was very comfortable, secure and well located. Loud street, but what do you expect in the center of the Reeperbahn?"

"I chose this hotel because it is two minutes walk from Grosse Freiheit 36, a music venue. It's in the centre of the red light district, so expect - if you're a single man - to be repeatedly approached and grabbed for "business". It didn't bother me, but it might bother some, hence why I mention it. The hotel itself is excellent. Comfortable rooms and excellent staff - no complaints there whatsoever."

"I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to have walkable access to major attractions, conveniences to the subway at the Landungsbrucken station with an efficient and friendly staff. The hotel was very clean, property well maintained and it offered the most wonderful breakfasts overlooking the Elbe River."

"Nice and comfy place just in 2 minutes from S-bahn and 10 meters from Reeperbahn str. Personnel is not really friendly and not demonstrates smile & joy to see new guests, though. But considering most of visiters are guys who seek cheap place for Geschlechtverkehr machen, this "f*%k you" face and "ready to fight" attitude is understandable"

"The bed was really hard this time and we ordered it with two single duvets, however that was a bit hard to get to get. The hotel is located perfectly next to Reeperbahn and Hamburger Dom but without any noice. The parking is good and has a fair price. The u-bahn is 2 minutes away from the hotel, so in 15-20 minutes you are downtown."

"A lovely stay at Empire Riverside Hotel. Second time we stay here. The location is fantastic – right by St. Pauli and very closeto Reeperbahn, yet still calm enough to relax and enjoy the view. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is modern and welcoming. The breakfast is amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. A very special thank you for being so kind to our dog. It meant a lot that our four-legged companion was made to feel welcome as well."
