"Loved this traditional ryokan, such attention to detail with all the Japanese cultural traditions and sweet and kind staff. I loved the whole experience with meals brought to my room, onsen baths, futon bed and private sauna in my room! The perfect relaxing experience in Hakone. Thank you!"

"This is gorgeous hotel. The staff are so kind, courteous and attentive. My room was spacious, with comfortable bed, stunning mountain views, and of course the Japanese heated toilet seat which is a luxury! The food was delicious. I ate both breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant and every little dish was so fresh, interesting and served like beautiful art. The onsen baths are wonderful and relaxing and I enjoyed the sauna as well. Short 10 min walk to the little town center and train station. I liked being away from the shopping street. I felt so taken care of and would definitely stay here again."

"One of the best Japanese style hotel I ever stayed. Couldn’t find anything negative about the hotel or the room itself. A bit outside the main town but the shuttle service is quite regular. And if you don’t mind waking it only takes 15 minutes! I will definitely be coming back!"
