"The Carriage Way in was one of the best B&B we have ever booked. The staff (Theresa & Christine - along with several others) were friendly, accommodating and very kind. They greeted us with smiles and instructions upon arrival and we saw them frequently throughout the next few days. They were there to ensure our comfort, but gave us the respect of privacy as well. They even recommended places to eat and travel tips. The location was perfectly situated just on one of the intersections on the edge of town. We could walk just 5 -10 minutes to all attractions, Flagler College and many restaurants. The coffee and wine bar was fully stocked and allowed for free range any time of day. They offered not only the aforementioned, but tea, water and soft drinks as well. A thoughtful extra touch were the nightly warm facial towelettes and lavender sachets for relaxation. The evening was a bit noisy, but only because we were staying during a festival. Otherwise, it was very comfortable. great hot shower & water pressure, extra pillows and linens, room controlled heat/ac was a huge bonus! We would absolutely recommend this B&B to anyone visiting St Augustine! "

"The hotel location is perfect, it’s located right in the middle of downtown and parking was provided with no cost. The in keeper one greeted us. He was very accommodating and made our stay wonderful. We stayed in the lower floor room and it’s an older hotel With a lot of character.. The bed was being uncomfortable in the room was cleaned exceptionally well. It actually smelled great. Once again though hotel was built in the 1800s so it’s not a modern looking room but we loved it. We had dinner there that night in the restaurant was excellent. The food’s a little on the High side in terms of cost, but the quality is very good. Breakfast the next day was served between nine and 10 and it was not a buffet, it was fresh made, and exceptional. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it."

"My stay was absolutely perfect! It has a homier feeling than a hotel. The room was so clean. The staff was friendly and willing to go over and beyond to assist me. There is a balcony near to pool to enjoy the water view. The inn is conveniently close to restaurants, stores and attractions but not too close so it wasn't loud and noisy. Finding a place to park in the city involves a lot of luck so it was great to have free parking at the inn. If I make my trip an annual affair, I will definately go to there!"

"This is a total ‘one of a kind’ stay. The property is unique and beautifully landscaped with statuary and fountains etc. The staff is fantastic as well. "
