"Great hotel quite dated decor but absolutely spotless. All the staff we encountered were excellent very friendly and helpful. Our room was really large with view over the front steps ( there are over 80 up to the road) and courtyard but was nice. Bathroom clean and spacious with red hot water. Beautiful views from the breakfast restaurant and various food options which were all excellent "

"The staff were always attentive, friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived until we left. Local bus stop just outside hotel. The breakfast buffet was great. Great choice of restaurants around the hotel complex. Access to pool & spa facilities is at sister hotel next door. Disappointed that the lido pool area was closed for part of our stay. We would stay here again"

"Our room was kept very clean and had a wonderful view of the neolithic "temple" on the grounds and St Paul's Bay. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"The property location is amazing. Right along the sea but property needs a bit of overhaul as it’s a bit aged property. For example the plug sockets are still old eu pins , the plumbing makes sounds and the carpets needs more deep cleaning but overall the property is nice and very spacious."

"We loved our stay at the Grand Hotel Gozo. Really good location and views. Standout were the wonderful staff - all so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I cannot recall the names, but the Portuguese maitre d, reception staff and Hungarian beautician are especially to be commended for their wonderful service. We ate in the hotel restaurant one evening and the food was delicious and the breakfast is outstanding. Bed was super confortable and lovely bathroom - though hooks or rack needed for hanging damp towels! The hotel is being expanded and it was early season, so there was slight chaos around that (we were staying in the new part, and it was a bit of a challenge finding our room initially!). That actually in some ways added to the charm. Thank you all for a wonderful 3-night stay."

"I highly recommend this hotel as the suites are really spacious and fully equipped with the most modern appliances and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast buffet on the top floor is a real feast for foodies and the view over Valletta is breathtaking. Unfortunately since I wasn’t on holiday I didn’t get a chance to experience the pool and spa but I can confirm that there is fast broadband connectivity in the room."

"A decent 4 star hotel with good amenities. Friendly, efficient staff and an excellent location. But the soundproofing between our room 402 and 403 was non-existent. Possibly because of the connecting door. Whatever the reason we could hear their 'endless' conversations clearly, the coughing, the hair dyer etc.."

"My birthday trip at the Marriott in St. Julian’s was excellent. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff made me feel welcome and safe as a solo female traveller. I especially enjoyed the spa area, which was peaceful and well-maintained. It was the perfect place to relax during my stay. I highly recommend this hotel."
