"The room was as advertised. There was no staff which was nice since a lot of hotels have check in ending at 8 pm. The parking situation was confusing since there are only three spots but I called the emergency number and the gentleman instructed us to park anywhere as long as it doesn't block the cars and views of the guests. "
"We stayed one night in one of the new deluxe cabins. It has a mountain view in the back and ocean view in the front, although our cabin’s view was partially obstructed by a building and cars parked. It was still nice and peaceful.
The cabin itself is nice. It has a small kitchenette with a kettle, microwave and some dishes. We particularly enjoyed the heated bathroom floor.
The location is great for exploring the Glacier lagoon and Diamond beach. "

"This is the best hotel we found in Iceland. It is more expensive, but worth it. Excellent restaurant in the hotel. Also good food at the Bistro near the Activity Center. The rooms have lots of space, with large showers."
"We loved our stay here. The hotel was beautiful and the amenities were fantastic. It has the feel of a classic upscale ski lodge. The hot tub and wellness room made you feel really pampered. The restaurant was amazing for both dinner and a very expansive brunch. I would 100% recommend this facility."
"The Old Cottage was a small drive from reception. This proved to be worthwhile since it was beautifully located in front of waterfalls and among trees. It was truly wonderful to be in an accomodaiton that allowed you to enjoy the natural beauty of Iceland. The accomodation was also very spacious and clean. My party was extremely happy to have seperate spaces in the property. We wish we were able to stay longer. The staff was very helpful in communicating with me and I appreciated the fact that they had breakfast/dinner available."
"We had a large family room for 4 (you could easily fit more young children if co-sleeping). Common kitchen had other travelers making breakfast and chatting. (Keep in mind there's no food available at this location.) No problems waiting for the shared shower. Self-checking with code 24/7."
