Hotel F6
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful stay, was very pleased. I stayed for 7 nights in a Superior room over Christmas. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was clean with plenty of room for clothes/luggage storage with a closet with hangers, shelving and a long table under the TV as well.
Breakfast was also well done - I saw some reviews with complaints about it not being a hot breakfast, but this is a boutique hotel, in Finland! Guests should expect a more traditional spread (see pic - unfortunately I took a video of the whole setup (and room but cannot post them!)) when booking. If a more American-type breakfast is preferred, I’d suggest booking an American chain hotel.
All in all, I was very happy with my stay, the room, and proximity to the markets, ferry, restaurants and shopping.
Pro-Tip: if you have limited time - I’d suggest to book the day trip to Tallin, Estonia versus the half day trip to Porvoo.
The ferry to Suomenlinna is a couple blocks away, 3 euros each way or just book the day pass for 10 euro and it only goes to the island and back, so can’t really get lost."
"Breakfast was good, though repetitive. Room was clean, very warm and cozy. The staff was friendly, always met with a smile - not so common on this side of Earth apparently. Location was perfect for tourists. "
"This is one of the best stays I’ve had. I stay in many fine hotels every year but Kamp was just perfect. Great bed, quiet room, great breakfast, very walkable, great location. Really lovely bathroom…everything just perfect. I will definitely stay again. "
