You might want to play some rounds at Rocky Point Golf Course, located 6.5 mi (10.5 km) from central Tampa. Hotels.com travelers also say the area is family-friendly and has lots of nice beaches. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander. If Rocky Point Golf Course doesn't quite scratch your golfing itch, Countryway Golf Club is also nearby.

Not cheap, but definitely a great experience.
Hot tube on the 16th floor, a very relaxing of moment of day or evening, no matter cold or warm weather. Could be bigger or adding more hot tubes though, as it is very popular! Great Spa experience.
I definitely will go back, and strongly recommend it.
