"The bar had friendly staff and the breakfast staff in the restaurant was amazing. The check in staff was amazing. The morning desk clerk was not friendly at all we had breakfast and then our room key would not work so went to get that fixed she acted like it was our fault the key still didn’t work the battery was out in the door and she still acted like we were putting her out for help into our room. "
"We spent a weekend in Waco and stayed at the Hotel 1928. The stay was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a drink in the bar and morning coffee in the library. A beautiful spot to relax and refresh. "
"I thought the room and staff were great. I thought about taking away a star for the breakfast but ultimately decided against it. They didn’t have any pancake or waffle options which was a disappointment. There also wasn’t any oatmeal. However, there were a bunch of topping out for an oatmeal bar or even to put on pancakes or waffles but they didn’t have any of that. The bacon was cooked perfectly so that made up for a lot. Also, the hot tub didn’t work so that was also disappointing. "
