Pera Palace Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"
No place in Istanbul compares to this hotel. As a frequent traveler, I can say there is a truly unique and special feeling that sets it apart. Every single person here deserves recognition — from the exceptional manager, Mr. Murad, whose efforts always ensure guests feel valued and cared for, to the bellboys and all the staff who consistently go above and beyond.
They earn loyal guests by creating an atmosphere of genuine warmth, making you feel not just welcomed, but at home.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their outstanding hospitality."
"The hotel is truly wonderful. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished so that nothing is missing. The view from the window is incredible. Despite the heavy traffic outside, the room is very quiet—you can’t hear the neighbors or any noise from the corridor. The bedding was changed every other day. Breakfasts were varied, and everyone can find something they like.
It’s a 15-minute walk to the metro and 10 minutes to a shopping center. There are always taxis available right outside the hotel, and a bus stop is just 200 meters away. The staff are excellent—helpful but never intrusive.
The spa area is fantastic: a spacious sauna, steam room, nature-sound shower, ice cabin, and a large pool. Best of all, the pool is never crowded. It’s a wonderful place to relax. The hotel is truly comfortable, and we didn’t miss a thing. Thank you!"
"Staff was very accommodating. Hotel is in a perfect location, near Hagia Sophia. View from rooftop is incredible. Four Seasons is just down the street at a much more expensive price. Only issue is that there’s a sister hotel near the water named Seven Hills Palace and my driver confused the two."
"Great experience. Check in was speedy, room /facility was ~good ( obviously smaller space vs. USA lodgings), overall acceptable. Breakfast was perfect and great attendance by staff.
Overall very pleased with property and it is a great central location for all the old town activities you are looking for. Would recommend to American / other travelers as it check the boxes of economy, cleanliness, professionalism and location. "
