Kilford Arms Hotel
6/10 Okay
"The rooms were clean, but the first room I was in was a little small, the TV was small, and I could not figure out the toilet flush initially, it's not your normal typical toilet flush. Finally figured it out.
The second room I got as I added an extra day was nicer, so my guess is not all rooms are consistently nice. Good luck. I am a solo traveler so it wasn't a bad experience at all, just a little different than my previous hotel stays.
This place must be big because there are so many rooms and is a kind of maze with many corners to turn, going upstairs, going downstairs to get to your room. The restaurant and bar are amazing!
For this reason I would not recommend it to a family."
"The location and staff were fine, but the bed completely ruined my stay. The mattress was unbelievably hard—so hard that it honestly felt like sleeping on the floor. I understand some people like a firm bed, but this had almost no cushioning at all. I woke up sore and uncomfortable, and it made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. A hotel bed should be comfortable, and unfortunately this one was anything but."
"Just returned from a one night stay at The Granville Hotel. Fantastic from check in to check out. Staff were professional and friendly. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfast menu was fantastic and cooked to perfection. Would not hesitate to stay here again. "
"Elevator beside room very load. Water was murky in swimming brownish tint off of it. Terrible smell in steam room and womens changing room was off putting."
