From clean comfortable rooms, fantastic staff which was always available and helpful, a breakfast with a wide variety of delicious options. It has a beautiful swimming pool and a stunning view over the lake. Can’t wait to go visit again!"

"The room I stayed in was absolutely sad. The bed sheets and pillow cases were washed but still had dirty stains. Washroom had sewage smell from the drain. The tv had nothing on it. Moreover there was so much noise coming from ppl on the floors past 11 pm. Staff were really amazing people. Place needs major upgrades"

"If you’re looking for a place in the heart of the city, this hotel is perfect. No car is needed, as everything is within walking distance. Plus, if you enjoy music and a good drink, there’s a great spot just around the corner from the hotel."

"Himare is a very busy location with several beach front options. This property is right in front of the beach. There are beach umbrellas available for the guests, however, you better get there early. It is very close to many restaurant and shopping opportunities. The roads are very narrow and congested. There is no parking at this location, but there are a few paid parking options a few hundred yards away. The breakfast was great with a nice variety of options. Everything is very clean and well kept. "

"Stella was extremely helpful with communication before arrival regarding booking a taxi to Montenegro as well as other taxis to get around some sights - her English was flawless which extends to her humour as well. The other team members in the hotel and cafe bar where breakfast is taken equally as friendly and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely, good choices and large! Location was convenient for walking everywhere Would highly recommend this small boutique hotel "

"We had a lovely experience at Hotel Valz. The hotel is actively run by two families and the staff are very friendly. We stayed for 9 nights and commutated into Shkoder to watch our son play basketball at tournament. It’s about 30mins from Shkoder and close to the beaches. The area is still "
