"After being around Costa Rica for two and a half weeks, and staying at various hotels and lodges, we found the Vistas las Islas to be the best accommodation on this trip. "The location was perfect — with easy access to Curú Park, Santa Teresa, and Montezuma. Cóbano was just a few minutes away, offering great supermarkets and an ATM, which made things very convenient.
The resort itself was beautiful, well‑kept, and thoughtfully landscaped. The pool was magnificent; we swam multiple times a day, including refreshing evening swims. Staff members Emy and Andrea were wonderful — welcoming, attentive, and accommodating throughout our stay.
Food at the hotel was delicious, and breakfast was included, which was a great touch. We also loved discovering a few local sodas within walking distance — each one was amazing and added to the authentic experience.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Tambor Tropical offers a blend of comfort, hospitality, and easy access to nearby adventures that makes it a standout choice in the area."

"The views from the higher rise building are exceptional especially river view from the 5th floor. We loved breakfast and pool time here - stayed two nights and didn’t leave the resort!
Some party noises on the Sat night and into the wee hours but expected given we are on holiday!
