Tolle, sehr gut eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, leider nur instant Kaffee und keine Kaffeemaschine ;-), die Wäscheleine draußen konnten wir mit benutzen . Ein besonderes Highlight war der Hot Tub auf der Terrasse.

Die Unterkunft war super! Es gab alles in der Küche, was man benötigt, es war sauber und wirklich schön sowie sehr ruhig! Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und haben uns sogar ein 2 Tage altes Lämmchen gezeigt, was wir streicheln durften! Würden immer wieder kommen, da die Lage auch super ist zum Myvant See und nach Husavik. Der eigene Hot Spot war das Highlight.

Very nice guesthouse, good breakfasts

We had a great stay at the guesthouse. The rooms are large and very clean. The location is excellent, less than 30 minutes from several attractions in the area. Breakfasts were very good. And the owners were all friendly and helpful.

Had a wonderful stay here! Hosts were super friendly and accommodating and it was fun staying at an actual family farm. Breakfast being included made it a great value and start to our next day of traveling! Definitely recommend this place on your journey around the ring road!

Of the six places I stayed around the ring road, this was my favorite - from the warm greeting and superb service to the amenities and quality furnishings. Everything was top notch, not one single thing to complain about. The space was large, comfortable, cozy, and quiet. The hot tub was relaxing after a long day's drive. Wish we had spent more than one night!

Life on the farm was terrific. We went out at night and saw the northern lights. Our host made us great meals in the morning and at night we were able to eat just down the road at a local cafe. For us, Vallakot farm was great.

5 star hosts, property and location

I found this place as I was looking for a central location not too far from Husavik or Myvatn after spending a night in Akureyri. We spent 2 nights at this farm house and absolutely loved it. The host family was unbelievably sweet and have maintained the property in perfect shape. We saw the northern lights from the open air hot tub. Great breakfasy, spacious acco and close to all the sightseeing nearby. Definitely 5 stars!

Wunderbares Guesthouse in traumhafter Umgebung

Vallakot Farm Guesthouse ist wunderbar gelegen, die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer sauber und zauberhaft und mit viel Herzblut eingerichtet. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Diese Unterkunft ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!
