Second visit to Cove Bay hotel, both visits to see a family members. Hotel is on the outskirts of Aberdeen overlooking the North Sea. Our rooms were very comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathrooms have a great shower but could have done with another radiator as they were quite chilly. The food is excellent. Hot breakfast items are many, and good quality. Evening meal was tasty and pleasant service.

A cosy small family run hotel and restaurant on the coast with great views. Plenty of onsite parking, warm welcome on arrival. Room was spacious and comfortable with a sea view. Both the evening meal and breakfast are delicious with a good selection of food and drink. Can highly recommend dining here. Thank you especially Angie the morning breakfast server. Will definitely stay again.

Cosy Hotel

The owner was wonderful, very helpful and so accommodating. The hotel was lovely, very cosy rooms, so if you’re over 6ft tall the beds are very small doubles, so not very comfortable for us but very clean, beautifully decorated and the food was delicious and hot! Great parking and overall the service was excellent.

Excellent !

Wow , this is the hotel I will be staying at from now on when visiting Aberdeen . The food and location are outstanding . The staff friendly and helpful . What more do you need . Had a nice walk in the morning . One of the best nights sleep I have had in a while . Cant wait to stay again .

Lovely staff - very grateful to the manager who waited past check in time for us when our flight got delayed by 3 hours, breakfast and dinner were lovely - would definitely recommend. Room and bathroom were a good size for the both of us.

Had a lovely stay here for one night. Good car parking. Food was lovely with a really lovely breakfast. Room was lovely. Only thing was the hot water. Took 2-3 minutes to get hot although there was a sign to say this. Water in the shower and in the sink were slow in draining away.

Loved the staff!!!! The hotel is dated but once you get over this it is great. And right beside the sea. And the. Real fast was wonderful! I would stay here again for sure. It was quaint. Not a lot happening around the hotel but it was a comfortable stay for sure

Kleines Dachzimmer, kein Meerblick, Fenster lässt sich nicht öffnen, bett mit 131 cm wohl eher Einzelzimmer nicht Doppelzimmer. Auch sonst selbst für Englische Hotels eher schlecht.

Bring a big jacket.....

only for when you get out the car 😀 The hotel was all we expected frm previous reviews. One night stopover for football at Cove Rangers, but would certainly go back for a longer visit. Everything was exceptionally good, except the articesque blast of wind that greeeted us in the carpark. The quality shown through from the staff to the food and the accommodation. Highly recommended.

Stayed 2 nights. Breakfast very good, and had dinner at hotel restaurant one evening- was excellent. Staff helpful, recommended entrance to cliff walk, which we did. Great views.
