The room was clean and comfortable opening into a semi private terrace. Fittings were a bit dated but fully functional and very clean. The continental breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace and was very fresh with ample choice.
Our issue with this hotel is finding it and checking in. It was raining at the time but we really struggled to find the hotel There is only one small sign hidden behind a large cactus which you can only see once you know it's there. There is no staffed reception. There is a small sign asking you to ring a doorbell to which the staff respond and come out to you. We never saw it in the pouring rain.
There are large building works in progress next door (where they are enlarging and existing school) and across the road (where they are building apartments). The building works were not noisy or dusty but added to the confusion if trying to find the hotel.
On day two, in the sunshine, we were able to chuckle about the previous day.
