Great place with friendly hosts

I was welcomed into the B&B. I had a very nice and friendly chat with the host. She is lovely! The breakfast in the morning was perfect and delivered bang on time too! The stay was perfectly enjoyable and if I ever come to Scotland and go that far North again, I’ll be staying here.

Host was friendly and welcoming and gave good information about the area. Bed uncomfortable, room not very soundproof as we heard person talking on phone next door. Okay for 1 night, but we was told we had to be back before 10:30pm due to locking up. Felt like we was staying in someone’s house, rather than B&B.

Great experience.

It was a most enjoyable stay, the owner was super friendly and looked after everything to a high standard. The room was spotless and super comfortable. Had a place to park and the area was super quiet and only a short trip to town.

Host was lovely and couldn't do enough for us. She gave us advise on where to eat out and directions on walking there. Continental breakfast was an added bonus, just a shame with room being so cosy my husband had to sit on the bed to eat his.

It reminded us just how far B&B accommodation has come. This place was like stepping back in time. We were greated nice enough but then told that the breakfast element of the B&B would be a Continental breakfast minus most the Continental breakfast, on a tray on the room! The bed was old and tired and the bathroom needs a refit. It is all clean so no worries there. The property is 20 minutes walk onto town through a housing estate and park. If the room was £50 a night it would have been acceptable, but for over £100 it was very poor value for money.

Our room wasn't very big, there was a lot of space taken up with unnecessary furniture. Given you had breakfast in your room it made it quite tight for space. Our host was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and considering what other properties were charging it was reasonable.
