This is an old school honestly, but with nicely separated living spaces (shred bathrooms). Not squeaky clean, and a bit outdated…but human and not without charm. The owner is a super courteous dude. You may need a car as it is a few kilometers 40 minute walk from the train station. The payoff is the silence and chill vibes out here. I enjoyed my stay.

As expected

This is a good place to stay if you want a peaceful, cheap room for the night but are not worried about elegance. The building is older, which is a cute aesthetic, but the main spaces are poorly lit and not cleaned thoroughly, stuff is stored everywhere as if the house were abandoned, and the restaurant service is not available. However, it was very quiet and peaceful. Everything smells faintly of cigarette smoke, probably from the other guests. While we were there, two toilets were out of order, but that will probably be fixed very soon. The older staff member is very friendly, but it is definitely a utilitarian option for housing.

朝ごはんは鯖の味噌煮とご飯、味噌汁、納豆、漬け物でした。ご飯はお代わり出来ます。プラス500円なので満足出来る内容かと思います。

The place is basic, but clean, comfortable and easy to find. There was free tea and coffee in the lobby area and free amenities like shampoo and face cleanser. The owner speaks some English and was very friendly. I had a great sleep and I would stay there again. Extra safety precautions were taken, for covid, such as temperature checks and hand sanitizer in the rooms.

とにかく料金が周辺の旅館よりリーズナブルなのが一番。また、旅館のご主人がとても気のきく方で、いろいろよくしてくださった。夕方いきなり2食付きの予約だったが嫌な顔せずに用意してもらえ美味しい夕食が食べることができた。

Petite chambre de style japonais. malheureusement pour notre logeur et pour nous, une panne d'eau a rendu les toilettes et douche inutilisables. notre logeur nous a offert les bains publics de la localité, qui étaient très bien. Il a été de très bons conseils en nous indiquant le hori garden, qui restera un de nos souvenir inoubliable de ce voyage.
