Conveniently positioned on the high street close to shops, cafes and restaurants. The rooms are in the cobbled courtyard at the back of the pub. Very quiet, comfortable with everything you’d need for a good night’s sleep. We were in Titania room. The shower was excellent! As we stayed in ‘off season’ the kitchen wasn’t operating so a very good continental breakfast was put in our room fridge.

From start to end of stay, the staff were excellent, knowlegable, respectful and always happy to be of assistance. The food was delicious, large portions and the beer was very good.
