The staff are the best part of the hotel. The Breakfast is also good but the traffic noise, horn sounds, and noise from the construction site next door outside the hotel starting at 6am didn't allow for any rest.
Additionally, there is continuous music playing in the hotel corridors, and since the doors are also not soundproofed, the music was not audible in the room even when the noise level decreased at night.
Our room, which overlooked a construction site and was very noisy, was changed after complaints. The speaker in front of our room was silenced due to our complaint about the music, but we realized the next morning that the sounds we heard throughout the night were coming from the elevator next to our room.
Unfortunately, Vietnamese nights aren't ideal for those expecting a deep sleep. Melia Riverside, with its soundproof rooms, is part of this Vietnamese reality...
