Everything is fair as this is located at the countryside so you cant expect a lot. The walls are thin so we heard noise from other guests checking in late at night and talking loud when we fell asleep.

Rude manager & misleading room pictures

When we arrived, we were first greeted with “we have a problem - they overbooked our place and we don’t have a room for you.” After a few nervous moments thinking we wouldn't have a place to sleep, the person at reception made a phone call to the owner and they found a room. HOWEVER, the room she gave us looked NOTHING like what is posted on the site. That picture has beds and a couch AND says “sleeps 3.” When I mentioned this to the owner/manager, she got mad at me and said that I came late (last check-in is 10pm & we came before) and then told me “if I don’t like it I can leave” Incredibly rude with false pictures on their site and false statements like “sleeps 3” There was also no shampoo or shower gel/soap in ANY of the showers

Way over rated and expensive

Very expensive for what you get, our room was very small, and bathroom was a closet. We were put in an attic room with a very tight hallway making baggage handling difficult. One pillow per bed. No shampoo or conditioner provided. They advertised a restaurant on website but only provided breakfast. Property was clean but very old looking and in need up an update. Pictures of property are not current. I can’t understand why others thought this place was so wonderful. We stayed in 7 other hotels this trip and this was the worst and most expensive.

The host was lovely and welcoming. The room was comfortable and great for 3 people. The hot tub cement and heated by geothermal was incredible. it was very clean, well maintained, everything worked. It was more like a farm family hotel. The surroundings were picturesque. Being able to go see their horses was magical. Breakfast was home made and filling, you want for nothing here! Totally recommend!

Very nice guesthouse close to the Ring Road. Super spacious room with a clean private restroom, quiet, and easy parking. Large and delicious breakfast buffet, and the host and other employees were very warm and friendly. One note -- We arrived rather late after 10pm (not planned), and we were fortunate that another couple was checking in at the same time. In general, you'd need to call a number to have the host open the reception and check you in, which isn't possible without a SIM card and/or WiFi. So if there's a chance you may check in on the later side, I'd recommend informing the property and updating them of your ETA as you get closer when you have WiFi. Would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

I loved the room, the peacefulness of the location, access to a long outdoor hot tub with views of the Aurora Borealis. Sleeping quarters also had shared fridge, tea, coffee, etc. The main building with lobby, lounge & dining area was well laid out.
