I was caught in a layover situation and I booked this room using my Hotels.com account. I have used it in the past and it makes booking a cinch. This time however, I took an uber to the property and went to check in, exhausted from a long day stuck in an airport. The clerk tells me that because my email address name is the name on the account and not my name on my drivers license that I cannot check in and will lose my money because that is the policy. I showed him the credit card I booked with, my drivers license, the email account opened with my phone. He didn’t care and didn’t want to hear it. He was rude. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor, he said no, there is no manager. I asked if he owned the hotel, he denied that he owned it. I found out that the whole whole chain of the hotels there were Choice Hotels and I am also a member of theirs as well as Hilton Honors. I booked this room because it was one of the first that popped up, had a shuttle and breakfast. Never ever again! I need to speak to a supervisor or manager ASAP My number is 870-718-1271
