El servicio es excelente, el personal en su totalidad se preocupa por dar la mejor atención posible y esa es la mayor fortaleza del lugar. No obstante, te venden la idea de un concepto luxury que está lejos de lo que ofrece su competencia natural. Alrededor de 4 de sus restaurantes estaban cerrados por ser temporada baja, y al parecer el steakhouse se limitan a reservarlo para extranjeros. Cuando reservas, no te dicen nada de esto. Average resort, Decent for the value

This resort is typical for what you would expect from a 3 star average resort. Food options limited, same buffet every day, very limited room service food. Ive never stayed at an all inclusive where you can't order alcohol to your room. The entertainment crew lead gentlemen remembered our names and treated us extra special!! He was amazing! The other room servive and food staff weren't very flexible to order things differently than the menu specifically even though they had the items.

My family loved it

This was a great hotel. Very clean. The room was great. Bed was comfy. It was roomy. The bathroom was spacious. The closet space was great. And our room attendant was awesome. She was in and our quickly and left our room very clean. She made sure we had plenty of towels and collected all of our dishes. The food was pretty good. We ate at the sushi restaurant, the italian and the steak. The steaks were ok. The pasta was good and the sushi was great. For all inclusive, it was better than alot. The buffet was good. Lots of options. They have made to order eggs and omelets in the morning. My daughter loved the crepe bar. And so many juice options. The strawberry was our favorite. We hit up the coffee restaurant every morning. My daughter discovered Frappuccino. They put ice cream in it. I don't drink coffee, but that was pretty darn good. We tried to go back for ice cream, but we never found them open during the afternoons or evenings. Guys Burgers was what I expected. Burgers, chicken strips and fries. It was nice to have an option right by the pool. The pool was nice, however I could have done without all of the games and talking on the microphone. It was a big pool and so refreshing. The beach was great. Lots of trees and seemed to be much cooler than at the pool with the ocean breeze. There are peddlers there trying to sell all of their stuff. I just ignored them. I would definitely stay here again. My family loved it.

PH is a good resort with nice staff. They open the doors with a friendly welcome. The make it easy to book excursions on, in which the Rio Celeste Rainforest & Sloth and Boreiquin day tours are a must if you vist this resort. Black sand beach access and view is nice, Entertainment stage nice! Two stars because the food. I would not go back to the resort for one reason only, the food. It is truly not good imo. The best food was provided on the excursions, which came from authentic Costa Rican restaurants. The food is just not good at all. Also the dinner time restaurants were hard to book because they are reservation only. Seriously though after eating dinner a couple of nights, you will be looking off resort for a decent meal. Room service meals were the worst.

For the most part the resort was amazing and everything I was looking for. The room was spacious and modern. The pool area was beautiful and never too packed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I think the only thing I didnt like was the food and drinks. The food was okay but thats it just okay. The buffet was probably my favorite place to eat. But even the food there was underwhelming at times. And the drinks were very very watered down. We spent a day at the pool getting drink after drink and felt nothing. I think if they can improve on those things I'd give this resort a 10/10.

Greetings, I decided to take my senior citizen mother on a mother and daughter trip. I selected this particular resort in hopes it offered excellent service and amenities. When we arrived we were greeted with an applause and adult cocktail. This was a great start. We waited to check in for approximately 30 minutes, only for the resort to GIVE AWAY our room with double beds. The resort acknowledged they received my special accommodations request, yet it was ignored. We were forced to share a king size bed for three days. When we arrived to the assigned building there are no elevators. We were assigned to the second floor. My mother and I had to carry our bags up and down the stairs. In addition she had to walk up and down the stairs after already walking down a steep hill to get to the assigned building. The resort scheduled a dinner reservation when we arrived, however the restaurant did not allow us to enter until the exact open time. Meanwhile they allowed other guest who were of a different race to enter prior to the opening time. After dinner we proceeded to the Nexus tour attendants to purchase an excursion. We decided to explore their Volcanic Adventure. This "adventure" states we will walk at the foothills of the volcano and see the crater. We DID NOT walk on the foothill or see a crater. The tour guide informed us it is actually illegal to go to the volcano. We paid for a volcano but did not receive it. Nexus sells false advertisement and gives half their "promises".

The area was beautiful. Beach was nice , but not what most people want on vacation. It was al pluff mud and zero beach area chairs. Food was ok at the restaurants. The buffet was awful . They had limited options especially for vegetarians and they recycled food a lot from one day to the next. Some staff was friendly and others wouldn’t pay you any attention when it was clear I was in need of something. We had 4 rooms and AC only worked in a couple of them. One room had to be changed 3 times because of all of the issues. The entire property is insanely steep to walk and shuttles don’t always pick you up. It’s a long steep walk up ! Pool entertainment was great! The kids and adults loved it. Highly recommend the Westin and the Playa conchal , playa flamingo areas if you are looking for amazing food , beautiful beaches, great location, and great customer service.

We had a wonderful time at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica. I can't think of anything we would change. Marvin was an amazing butler and made sure we had reservations for all the things and our room was always clean and stocked. Highly recommend!!

Awesome black sand beach. Friendly staff with star pool access staff going above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. Lots of wildlife including monkeys and iguanas, which were cool to see every day. Dining options were all very decent though there was some confusion with reservations. Celebrating a birthday was wonderful with a fruit and chocolate tray as an added surprise.
