The rooms are poorly soundproofed and shaded, we got bitten by mosquitoes at night. The servers are kindly and friendly, but they don’t even sever hot water.

Torn up bathroom floors, carpet not cleaned, pillow case on inside out, creaky sounding room. Bed and floors of room were slanted making for an uncomfortable sleep. Pillows were extremely flat. Very friendly front desk that is available 24/7. Accessible parking and nice seating outside of each room.

A nice little "hole in the wall" place. I was pleasantly surprised by our room. We had a 2 bedroom suite. It was very nice. The main bedroom was very nice and the 2nd bedroom was small but served its purpose.

The things that mattered were clean, beds, bathroom, kitchen sink, counters, microwave, stove, etc. Loved having two separate bedrooms. It's just worn. Carpet had some stains, bathroom door was off balance, so had a bunch of towels behind it to keep it from slamming into the wall, just could use a good refresh. Woman at check in was terribly nice. Loved that they had bags of ice available, for our coolers, for free. It was perfectly adequate for our one night stay.

Our stay was great, again! We were here a few days ago for one night (one night this stay as well) and we had the same room again (which I had booked). There are signs of aging but in no way to inconvenience us. The water pressure in the bathroom's shower was wonderful and it got hot, easily. The kitchen is outdated but works just fine. We were excited to have a "home-made" hot meal and lots of space in the "Two Room Suite, 1 Queen bed in each room, Sleeper Sofa, Kitchen".

Horrible establishment .

Being woke up by the smell of Pot , 3 people outside partying it up till 2am , toilets were about 8 inches off the floor, barely big enough for a adult , hardly worth the price , and TV didnt work ....... to tired to complain at time of checkin . I would not suggest going there . They truly need updates , and security or cctv . BAD choice , will not go back . Cody was easy to work with , check out clerk didnt assist much .

Even better than excpected!

This was perfect for our needs! I had booked 1 night in the "Two rooms, one queen bed in each room" and found we were upgraded at no extra cost to the "Two Room Suite, 1 Queen bed in each room, Sleeper Sofa, Kitchen"! Check-in was fast, and the lady at the desk was so friendly and helpful. She gave me a map of town and a couple coupons for Dogpatch and she marked what street the restaurants were on, on the map for me. The suite itself is older with some wear and tear but not in any way that inconvenienced us. The kitchen (although a very old oven/microwave) worked really well and was so nice to have! There was also a toaster, pots and pans and pleanty of counter space to work on. The living room area had a couch, T.V. amd a table and chairs for 4 (with space to spare). The bathroom had a handicap shower so lots of space The qeueen bedrooms were clean and, again, lots of space to store our things. I'll post some photos of the rooms. After dropping off our stuff in the suite, we drove 20min to Miners Beach and had a fabulous time! Then, on our way back, we stopped by Pat's Foods (just accross the street from the Motel) to pick up ingredients for fajitas since we had a kitchen in our suite! We ate super well, watched T.V. and the bed was SO confortable that I slept great after a long day of driving and time at the beach.

The bathroom needs updating. The bed was comfortable and clean. Remote for room was missing. They took care of that promptly. Continental breakfast was a grab and go deal. Water and soda was at a cost. Coffee was free. For a quick sleep and wash up and go it was just what you need.

The only thing that was good about our state was the breakfast. Our room was dirty. The floor in the bathroom was filthy. There were ants in the bathroom. There were ants on the countertops carpet. Terrible wallpaper coming down just yuck!

Don’t even know where to start. First of all though I would like to say that the staff especially Cody was wonderful. Now for the room itself. Rug was filthy, ceiling light was falling down on the bathroom, the bathroom door knob was falling off, the sink was no larger than a kids toy sink and didn’t drain well. The blanket on the bed was covered in dog hair and smelled like a dog…,disgusting! There was no table lamp only the big bright over head light, no curtains only cheap white blinds. The outside light was right at our window so Cody did turn that off for us. We asked for a different room but nothing was available. As I said Cody the clerk was super nice.He did everything he could to accommodate us. We were suppose to stay 2 nights but chose not too! Never will I go back there. It is so badly need of repair!

Location was perfect for all we did in Munising. Friendly staff allowed us to check in early so we could change prior to kayaking. Physical structure of property is ‘old school’ motel with some Wonkey features (carpet squares, tile misaligned in tub, no bedside lamps). Juxtaposed against immaculate cleanliness (old vs clean). Linens were crisp and mattress comfortable.
