Amazing stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Puerto Plaza Hotel in Las Terrenas, and it was truly one of the highlights of my trip to the Dominican Republic! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm smiles and excellent service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. The location couldn't be better—just steps from the beach and within walking distance of fantastic restaurants, bars, and shops. It felt like the heart of Las Terrenas, yet still peaceful and relaxing. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a unique architectural style that gives it a charming, nautical feel. My room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, with a small kitchenette that made it easy to prepare light meals or snacks. I especially loved the private balcony, which was perfect for enjoying my morning coffee with a view. The rooftop pool and lounge area were absolute highlights—great for unwinding in the afternoon sun or catching a beautiful sunset. The Wi-Fi was reliable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and everything felt very secure. Whether you're visiting for a romantic getaway, a solo adventure, or a relaxing break with friends, Puerto Plaza Hotel is an ideal choice. I’m already looking forward to returning and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Las Terrenas!

Difficile de trouver des taxis. Il faut demander à l’hôtel d’appeler pour vous, sachant qu’il n’y a pas Uber dans cette région. Attention aux moustiques, ils sont toute une armée. Petit-déjeuner décevant car ils travaillent avec une boulangerie qui ne proposent pas d’options healthy, que des viennoiseries, pains et pizzas…

The shape of the hotel is very unique next to the beach. There are shops right under hotel and close too many restaurants and night clubs. The pools were very and perfect area to cool off and get sun. Staff was very nice and responsive when we had issue with tv and took care of it immediately. We really enjoyed the breakfast included with the stay and the croissants were amazing! The space was very big and roomy and the jacuzzi was nice to have although paint was chipping a bit you can tell they make efforts to fix things. Areas with possibility for growth are cleanliness in rooms, lack of hot water issue on one of our days, and professionalism of parking lot guard at night. We went during semana Santa and was very difficult to sleep because the night guard with help of his friend allowed many motorcycles to drive through parking lot and park in there in exchange for money. The view of sea was obstructed to by tents set up for four wheelers and motos and that’s was disappointing but all this good have been our fault since we didn’t pick perhaps best time to go. May consider staying again in future but definitely not around Easter time
