This large and lovely home is situated in a serene upscale neighborhood north of Nanaimo proper. My girlfriends and I rented two rooms. Both rooms had spectacular, unobstructed views. Charles, the owner/manager, was a delight. Some beautiful beach walks are only a five-minute drive away, but would not be easy for 70 y.o. knees to walk to due to the steepness of the road up the house. Also, come prepared with any snacks, as there are no convenience stores nearby. We would definitely visit again.

Beautiful location & view. Unfortunately raining, cloudy & we arrived on a later ferry. All the fault of our own planning. Very clean & comfortable. Shared entry way with family & other guests as described.

Beautiful views and wildlife. Friendly owners.

We had a very short stay here, but Charles was very friendly and accommodating. Easy check in. The view was outstanding and the sunrise gorgeous. You do share a deck with another unit and the guests do walk past your windows. This is sold as a bed and breakfast which in my experience is normally a free breakfast with stay but they charge 10$ per person. However, I would recommend staying here.

Beautifully situated property in Nanaimo. The host was friendly and helpful. The room was amazing as was the bathroom. Both were big, clean, nice, with a breathtaking view on the ocean and coast mountains in mainland BC. The sheets and towels were cleaner and better smelling than any hotel I’ve been to before. Only one minor disadvantage, for our room, we shared the entrance with the B&B owner.

There were several rooms available, part of a large house at the top of a hill in Nanaimo. Positives: - Fantastic view of the ocean, Vancouver and the US on a clear day; - Nice upscale neighborhood; - Large room and washroom with separate tub and shower; - Free on-site parking; - Comfortable bed and pillows; - Supplies and machines for coffee and tea - Will definitely stay here again if visiting Nanaimo Negatives: - 10-minute drive from downtown Nanaimo and 30 minutes from Duke Ferry Terminal
