The room that I had booked and requested which was 117 and I was told when I called prior to check in but it shouldn't be a problem the room was no longer available so I ended up in a smoking room with a queen size bed that was much smaller for the same price would it be possible to get another day and lieu of this mix-up

No one was at front desk despite us ringing for service. After 20 mins we called the hotel. The room was clean but paint was peeling, where the smoke detector should be had duct tape over it, the pool was closed and, when we went to the”complimentary” breakfast, the lobby was locked (@ 8 am).

The place is run down and in desperate need of repairs. The toilet had a bowl under the toilet tank to catch the leaking water. The tv screen had a 6 inch crack in the middle of the screen. The room had a nasty smell. The pool was half filled and the water in the pool had black sludge in it. There were no vending machines or food on the premises...I had to go to a gas station down the road to get beverages. I checked out after the first night. Do not bother going there. It's not worth the hedache.

Service was okay but the property is disgusting. True roach motel. Unsafe outlets just hanging out of walls mattresses are dirty and unkept. Paint and drywall repairs unfinished. Rooms have minimal light. And they’re charging the same prices per night as much better kept hotels a few miles away.

I planned this trip on a budget so I did not expect a five-star experience at this place. The pool looked like a large bowl of moldy soup and probably hasn't been used in a few years. There was no breakfast as advertised and I had no TV my entire stay. When I called for assistance they came and looked at the TV then said they would need to contact Comcast. Comcast never came and issue was never resolved. That was very upsetting. There was no extra security locks on my door which made me feel a little unsafe after seeing a few sketchy individuals roaming nearby late at night. In my 4 day stay I saw a total of seven bugs and can confirm 3 were indeed roaches. However, the room was spacious and clean, the bed was extremely comfy and the AC was ice cold. The water view from my room was also decent. The staff was kind and friendly. However due to the false advertisement. I would not recommend staying at this location.

I could not stay here. First time I have ever left a hotel after paying. Absolutely filthy and felt unsafe. Toilet seat not connected, bugs, smells of mold, pets and smoke, transients drinking in the parking lot, and more.

It was a horrible place. Granted Americas Best are older properties and in the past weren’t an issue, but this place stunk of roaches and pesticides and the clerk I dealt with was very flippant about me not not wanting to stay there, he just said “Whatever” and waived his hand very dismissively. This was just the lobby and office area. He came from what I assume was the managers apartment. Will give it a poor review on the Hotels. Com app/website.

I stayed at the same hotel about one year ago and nothing changed, In fact by default I think I had the same room. There are paint chips everywhere, the door has tissue stuffed where the latch would be. The toilet runs constantly. A/C though set was never cold or comfortable. Coult not be adjusted. Light on night stand near the bathroom never works . .It's too far to use the other side of the bed. THE BED IS TOO HIGH for me to get in. The top is near my waist, impossible to get into bed, had to put my foot on the night table, and use the ice bucket tand use the couch cushion o raise myself a few inches. There is a fridge and microwave but absolultely NO PLACE to put anything, no table or ledge or shelf to place a dish or cup or food, fruit anything. I had to use the bed to access my cane, phone or ipad,any clothing. NO TISSUES anywhere I'm not talking about toilet tissue. Just a tissue to blow nose or personal use. They offer no coffee service. There was no possiblitiy to get a drink unless you bring it all yourself. I had one cup I brought myself. So next time I would have to bring a stepping stool and a little table it's ridiculous. No store nearby just to get any essential.
