The front desk staff is great.
Fix the door on room 313 so it properly closes.

The breakfast service was a messy situation. The food was cold and bland, and if the staff is walking past a stuffed trashcan more than three or four times, then they should consider taking out the trash. try to stay on top of restocking stuff.

Family trip
We were there for 5 nights and only had housekeeping service once. I was asked upon check in if I wanted housekeeping and said yes. They did not come the day after check in which wasn’t a big deal and we didn’t mind. After they did not come the day after the second night and our garbage was over flowing I went to the front desk to ask. I was told it wasn’t her department but she would check. I was then told the housekeeping department was short staffed but she would make sure we had it the remaining days of our stay. We did get it that day! But not again the rest of the trip. The gas was out in the fireplace outside and was never replenished after we asked to turn it on 2 nights. There was also a party in their bonus room which was fine but there were a few beer bottles and multiple bottle caps all over the patio that were never cleaned up.

Unfortunate experience
I probably won’t stay at this hotel again. Breakfast was mediocre. Not enough toilet paper, towels were not ready till the morning after we arrived and we had to go to the desk twice to ask about them. No one at the front desk, no one around during breakfast for refills or questions, the handle for the hand-help shower head in the handicap shower did not work making the shower useless because the shower head is on the other wall away from the seat. The bed was hard. No body taking care of business and now worthy to be a Marriott product. Love the indoir pool

The breakfast could have been way better.. the sink was cracked. The staff at the front desk wouldn’t answer the phone when calling and there was not where on the website that said the pool was not going to be open due to repainting the area, they said we could walk across the street and use their pool if we wanted too.

Nice option in hollister
Thought the breakfast options were great and coffee was available at all hours, pool was closed during our stay, otherwise the hotel and staff were great. One week later and i still have the $5 hold for incidentals showing on the credit card so I'll need to go through the hassle of disputing that.

• The AC temperature controller was not working when we arrived. The unit was working, but it had a sign saying to use the wall mounted controller only. So we couldn’t adjust the temperature to something comfortable. When the technician came, he said to ignore the sign and use the controller in the unit itself, and that he had asked the manager to let the guests know, but the manager refused. Our room was not the only one with this particular problem
• The pool was closed for repairs
• The first morning of our stay there was no hot water for showers or anything else
• The washing machine in the guest laundry wasn’t working and the hotel personnel wasn’t even aware. My clothes were trapped in there for an hour or more.
We are thinking about asking our credit card to refuse payment. The pool and laundry were esential for our long trip. The lack of hot ware and adecuate temperature control was most anoying.

The room was clean and promptly available upon check-in. We've stayed here in two other occasions and this time we noticed a weird sewer smell coming from the sink and shower. The breakfast buffet is nice and parking is plentiful.

Apesar de que no nos respetaron la habitación que habiamos reservado la limpieza del cuarto estaba bien, solo la cafetera estaba un poco sucia donde se le pone el agua , creo que tienen que tener mas cuidado en eso.

Not a good experience
When we arrived the bathroom smelled of sewage. I asked to switch rooms as the smell was quite bad. I was told there were o other rooms and that maintenance would be sent up. Unfortunately whatever was done did not fix the issue. Bathroom sink was unusable as the smell was horrible. Also shower door was broken, when it was closed, it was almost impossible to open from the inside, luckily my husband took the first shower and was able to get the door open, I would not have been able to do it. I ended up taking a shower with the door open, so I would not get stuck inside.

The new hotel and room 205 was lovely, large and modern. The breakfast was limited but good. Would have been nice to have potatoes with the eggs and sausage. Overall, everything was great...almost.
We had men next door who talked and laughed loudly until 12:30am. We did not call the front desk or bang on their door because we were afraid of retaliation. Not your fault so I didn't deduct any stars. Would definitely stay there again.
