Clean, Cozy, and Close to the Coast

We really enjoyed our stay at Breakers by the Sea. The location is hard to beat—right across from the beach with beautiful views and easy access to the sand and water. It made it so convenient to spend time by the ocean, enjoy walks along the strip, and take in everything Hampton Beach has to offer. The property itself is a little dated, but it was very clean and well maintained, and that mattered more to us than anything. Our room was comfortable and came equipped with useful amenities, including a fridge, stove, and microwave, which made it easy to store snacks, prepare quick meals, and save a bit on dining out. Parking is provided, which was a big plus, though it’s located across the street. It wasn’t a problem for us, but crossing can be a bit tricky on very busy days when traffic is heavy, so it’s worth noting for future guests. Still, having parking included was very convenient and took away a lot of the stress of finding a spot near the beach. Overall, this is a solid and affordable place to stay if you want to be close to everything in Hampton Beach. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean, practical, and in a great location. We would definitely consider staying here again the next time we visit.

Short one night stay

The staff were super nice and helpful. Allowing us to park right outside the hotel because of our late arrival and communicating with us to make sure we got into the room late at night. Location was right on the water and we were happy with the full size refrigerator. Refrigerator was a little old and rusty and room could use a little more cleaning but overall we were really happy with the service and staff.

The location was excellent!! We walked to everywhere we needed to go and enjoyed a fireworks on the beach. Staff were really nice and easy to work with. Parking was a little tough since occasionally the reserved spots were taken by people who should not park there. The room was nicely decorated - dated but well equipped. The bed was comfy and linens were nice. Some basic maintenance upgrades would make the experience better - like improvements to aesthetic things (large chip in countertop, painted over fixtures, sealing around bath tub etc.), replacement of door fixtures (bathroom door didn’t close properly or lock, key was hard to turn) and plumbing updates (water was slow to drain in all places). Minor things like more hangers and a broom/dustpan in the rooms would be helpful for accidental sand tracking in when coming and going from the beach. We especially liked the balcony/patio area and view of the water.

I'd stay again!

Great place away from the main strip. Nice staff. Room was clean, with a fridge and stove. Coffee maker! Bed was soft. I couldn't sleep on it. Some people love that comfort level, i guess. Great parking just across the road was awesome too.

Quick enjoyable stay

One night stay for my wife and I. Simple and easy enough and the room served its purpose. Check in was easy. Parking is in the median across the south bound road. Room was small but cute. Queen bed was comfortable. Location is across the street from northern part of main beach. We used to never go there due to Jo bathrooms…but with a hotel room across the street, that is taken care of. This part of the beach is much quieter and more family oriented. Overall, for a one or two night stay, the standard queen room is sufficient.

Not worth it.

My husband and i came here for a work event /friend trip. We had another couple stay with us in the same room. It was not at all what we were expecting. The bathroom was so tiny we had to keep the door open so we didnt feel so closed in. When we did shut the door it would get stuck. The vent in the bathroom did not work so everything got steam in there.the water had two options ice cold or burn your skin off. The floors were sticky so had to wear some type of shoe or socks in the room. There was no screen on the sliding door so you really couldnt have the door open to enjoy the ocean breeze. Parking was a whole disaster! Won't even get into that. I would stay at hampton beach again but i would NEVER stay at this hotel again. Absolutely not worth $700 to stay there

Beautiful

We had a wonderful time at the Breakers hotel. The room was super clean and convenient to the beach. Everyone at the front desk was super helpful and gave us some great advice on what to eat locally. The air conditioner worked wonderfully. I’m very happy that they have a refrigerator there and a microwave oven. I think this is the cleanest hotel. I’ve stayed at when I’ve been to the Hampton Beach.
