Pros: -Hotel was clean and great location. We only stayed one night so didn’t get to explore or experience it too much. -Staff was very friendly at check in. - Room was big and comfortable. -Located right across the beach for quick access. Cons: - we paid extra for a balcony room which in our opinion was not worth it. Basically every room has a balcony anyway. And the balcony rooms all face into each other. Did not have an ocean view. - there is SO much light that comes through the windows at night. The rooms only have blinds and no curtains. Even at 2 am it feels like you have every light on in the room but it’s the lights they have on outside. Made for a very sleepless night for our entire family who is used to sleeping in the dark. - the pool was closed for the season when we got there to check in. A little disappointing that this is not something said at booking, since it is advertised as having a heated pool. - Beds were also very noisy and creeked at the slightest movement.

Disappointing

Did not get the room I was expecting no balcony to sit on . Pool was very small . Beach is not very accessible , boardwalk was far . Room was right beside the stairs and was very very noisy even very early in the morning

Not the ideal place to vacay!!!

My Husband and I booked the room for the weekend because it was our 10th year wedding anniversary. The location was perfect for us, however the motel staff shut our keys to the room down an hour before (check-out at 10am), so we had to get the keys reactivated just to get back in the room to get the rest our belongings, so it was inconvenient asfar as that goes. But other that that, they were friendly or at least the cleaning staff were, but I wouldn't book again for this place if it were the only available place to stay...

Get what you paid for

Overall was looking to sorta save on money since it was only a single night away, definitely paid for what I got. Got placed in a room on the third floor. The outside walkway on the third floor had low spots/divits with cones on them and caution tape on the railing. The room itself wasn’t terrible but the lights did not work, the beside table lamp and alarm clock were not plugged in simply because there were no outlets behind the table/beds. The bed mattresses sank in the middle when you laid on them and the shower head had a very weak pressure. The upside was the pool and the little bar/restaurant area although they were always packed. Would stay again but definitely would pay for anything other than the standard room

So-so.

Nothing about this hotel stands out. While the employees are nice the accommodations are meh. Dated, spares and in need of a serious updating and revamp. Close access to the beach and shuttle buses. Bed was like a granite slab. Furnishings looked like something from a dorm room. If you are just looking for a place to crash it is ok. Do not expect anything other than the basics.

We liked the evening concerts which we could watch from our balcony. The room could be better equipped with hangers, a luggage holder, a small microwave. Also, the shower outside the pool wasn’t working, so at the very least a hose should have been set up for beach people to rinse off before using the pool, I saw several get in all sandy from the beach. Nice, clean soft towels and sheets.

Would Stay Again

We booked a balcony room. It was on the third floor, and there were no elevators. Folks with mobility issues should be aware of this when booking. Our room had 2 double beds. One of them was very uncomfortable; it felt like the springs were poking through. It turned out the mattress was on upside down! We were thankfully able to flip it. The room was spacious with basic amenities, but lacked things like coat hooks or a closet. It was really clean except for the floor, which felt sandy from the start. My biggest complaint is that the property is lit up like an airport runway all night long. The room had blinds but no curtains, so our room was never dark. I ended up having to buy a sleep mask to be able to sleep in the room. Despite all of the above, we would stay here again. The proximity to the beach was fantastic (right across from a public access street). The pool on the property was also great. While we didn't eat at the on-site restaurant, it was frequently busy and the food I spotted there looked good.

Lipstick on a Pig

1st impression looks nice on the outside ..clean- has a pool, little bar area.. but that's where it ends sort of ...you have a suite on the 3rd floor..guess what no elevator..hump up all the luggage...ok get in the room "looks" nice , renovated maybe new flooring, paint (the lipstick) as we get settled in things are a bit "off" like the night stand power, maybe the plug is bad yup and missing the cover plate which has the mattress pushed right up to an open circuit. but wait there's more. we asked for 2 queens these are like twins at best..what? ok then put the kids on the pullout sleeper, mom on 1 twin & dad on the other.. sat down to take off shoes and the box spring collapses to the floor ..you cant make this stuff up.. on both beds the box springs are broken cracked unbelievable (imagine kids jumping)..the last few items are the missing escutcheon on the sprinklers (cover plates) & the fire alarm was disconnected and hanging by the wire from the ceiling. Also, no secondary door safety latch non Electronic the overall back off house needs a lot of common sense upkeep the door to enter the stairs had a pile of trash right in front see all the pictures
