Why not stay at a castle?

One advantage of having a petty aristocracy is lots of castles around. This 1800s castle and grounds has been converted into a convention center and hotel. The rooms (in t the servants quarters) were clean and comfortable (with a real double bed!) but somewhat dated, the prize is the breakfast in the main house.

Mysigt med bra service

Superfint stÀlle, trevlig och serviceinriktad personal. Mysig konferenskÀnsla snarare Àn stort sterilt hotel. Trevliga lummiga omgivningar men ÀndÄ nÀra till tunnelbanan. God frukost som hade det man behövde, vÀldigt smarrig omelett var ett plus. Mitt enkelrum var helt ok, sÄg dock ingen AC sÄ kan nog bli varmt pÄ sommaren.

Hotellrummet och dess badrum var vÀldigt smÄ, sÀrskilt med tanke pÄ vad det kostar att bo hÀr. Vi hade Àven större förvÀntningar pÄ rummets standard Àn det som mötte oss. En uppfrÀschning hade inte skadat. Frukostsalen var fantastiskt fin och frukosten god. Miljön runt hotellet och nÀrheten till tunnelbanan var ett stort plus!

Hotellet har inte sĂ„ mĂ„nga rum vilket gjorde upplevelsen Ă€nnu trevligare. Servicen Ă€r utmĂ€rkt och personalen hĂ€ngiven. Frukosten var makalöst god ! En lugn vrÄ nÀra tunnelbanan till Stockholm

SĂ„ hĂ€rligt hotell i utkanten av Stockholm. Servicen, den vĂ€nliga personalen och den vĂ€rme jag upplevde var helt fantastisk. Detta Ă€r en gammal HerrgĂ„rd/Slott som idag anvĂ€nds som hotell och för kurser. Omgivningen Ă€r underbar med stor trĂ€dgĂ„rd och mĂ„nga strövomrĂ„den i nĂ€rheten. Middag höll hög kvalitĂ© och samtidigt var priset mycket överkomligt. Frukosten var riklig och de öppnade den tidigt för att jag skulle hinna med innan min tidiga avresa. Mitt rum lĂ„g i en av sidobyggnaderna, men charmen frĂ„n den gamla 1700 tals-byggnaden fanns i varje vrĂ„. Lagom stort rum, skön sĂ€ng, fĂ„tölj och skrivbord. Badrummet var trĂ„ngt, men fungerade för mig. Det kĂ€nns som man Ă€r lĂ„ngt utanför Stockholm, men det tar mindre Ă€n en minut att gĂ„ till Åkeshov Tunnelbanestation. DĂ€rför Ă€r det ocksĂ„ ett alternativ om man vill besöka centrala delarna av Stockholm. Gratis parkering. Jag rekommenderar detta stĂ€lle varmt!

Ringde tvÄ dagar innan besök för att arrangera tidig incheckning (frÄn 14.00, skulle kosta 150kr extra). AnlÀnder 14.02 och fÄr dÄ veta att vÄrat rum INTE Àr fÀrdigt. Har blivit nÄgon kommunikationsmiss hos personalen. Vi fÄr tillsagt att rummet ska vara klart inom 15 minuter. VÄrat resesÀllskap fick checka in tidigt trots de inte har ordnat med det pÄ förhand. NÀr klockan Àr 15 (ordinarie incheckningstid) har vi fortfarande inte fÄtt tillgÄng till rummet. SÄ en tidig incheckning blev en sen incheckning. Fick frÄgan om vi ville ha en lÀsk som ersÀttning, vi tackade nej. SÀngen var för mjuk för vÄran smak. Hade större förvÀntningar pÄ frukosten... Trevlig personal, men funkar inte att de behöver springa runt och göra flera saker samtidigt. PÄ morgonen var det tydligen höstmarknad. Det var en utmaning att ta sig in i flygeln (boendet har flera externa byggnader med rum) dÄ nÄgon parkerat en skÄpbil tÀtt inpÄ dörren sÄ den inte gick upp helt (kÀnns inte bra i brand/utrymningssynpunkt). Vid utcheckning stÄr receptionisten ute och sÀljer "hotellmerch"(?) sÄ blir en liten kösituation.

Bilden pÄ rummet jag bokade överensstÀmmde inte riktigt med det vi fick. Badrummet inte renoverat pÄ lÀnge, gick en 80 tals kÀnsla över det. Frukosten var bra med god hemlsgad Àggröra och mÄnga goda röror och andra pÄlÀgg, hembakat gott bröd. Personen var mycket trevligt , speciellt frukostpersonalen.
