Cute and Modest motel

Its a very cute and modest motel. I would stay there again. Our room had a big bed and couch and was very comfy. I wish there were screens on the balcony door so i could have let fresh air in without having to worry about bugs. Breakfast was nothing great. They had toast and some cereal. Coffee was not good. It was a good value and cute old fashioned motel astetic. They did not have any conditioner which sucked but othwr toiletries were available.

Front desk was amazing

Madeline from the front desk was so amazing and kind. One person from our party had an emergency and not only did she handle it and got him care, but then she put his food in the fridge and called me! Above and beyond in customer service. The hotel is older but clean and the pool was clean.

Just for a quick 1 night stay after concert at Asbury Park. Not bad overall. Could use some minor fixes but not a bad place to stay. Only issue was light outside balcony/porch--was VERY BRIGHT!! Didnt see a switch to turn off--but kept the room lit--and i usually sleep in darkness--so it was rough!

The whole place smells of weed use. Upon entering our room, the bathroom was occupied by a staff member. The bedding had a cigarette burn and some black substance on it. The flooring was buckled throughout, as if there had been major water damage at some point.

Clean, cheaper, nice staff, 10 min to beach-

Well, this was the least expensive hotel near where we wanted to be (on the beach in Ocean Grove). It's an old Howard Johnsons. It wasn't horrible. It's old, but the rooms were clean (minus the cigarette butts outside of our room) we liked the sliding door out to a little patio (with an uncomfortable bench). Id say we were "glamping". Bring your amenities - fridge and microwave in room - not great soap/shampoo - bring your own - towels were old but clean- even bring some folding chairs if you want to hang outside. There's a nice big pool. Our room looked over the grass which was ok - could hear the car wash all day - The Front desk person Maddie, was lovely and so nice! Everyone was very nice there. The breakfast was slim - coffee, cereal, bagels and toast, but enough to get your day going without having to go out. There's an Aldi across the street. We were just 10 min from the beach! It wasn't bad. We just stayed 2 nights. I wouldn't want to stay for a long trip.

One night stay kind’ve place….

Check in was easy, woman at the front desk was very nice. We didn’t expect much due to other reviews, but needed a room for the night. Like other reviews upon entering the room you’re hit with an old cigarette smell, bed was ehh, bathroom had bare wood showing on the sink, burn holes in the curtains. It got the job done when needing a room for the night, wasn’t willing to pay 500 plus dollars in Asbury Park.
