The room was spotless, had plenty of towels and bathroom toiletries for 3 people in a 2 Queen bed room. We had a nice partial canyon view room. The paved rim trail is approximately 15 feet away from the window of the bottom floor rooms- so just keep that in mind when booking.

Friendly staff, clean, comfortable room. "Partial Canyon View" room actually has a great view of the Grand Canyon. Recommend treating yourself to dinner in the El Tovar dining room.

No designated parking for hotel guests, had to circle around the large one-way loop several times before finding a spot and having to carry our luggage over to the building. Why don’t they give designated parking for those staying the night?

This was our first time to the Grand Canyon and we were very happy with staying at the Kachina Lodge. The location was fantastic, and the price wasn't terrible for the view.

Rooms A/C system was not working for several days of our stay with room temperatures reaching 80 degrees. Parking is atrocious requiring half mile walks to an open parking space. All hotel parking is open to day visitors leaving hotel guest to find remote lots on their own and walk great distances.

Staff seemed harried. Late check in, two hours late. Bad representation of lodge on hotels. Com. Lobby of main hotel gave no indication that we were staying at an adjunct property that had no amenities.

We selected a partial canyon view room with two queen beds at Kachina Lodge. The view from the room was spectacular and the room itself was very clean and comfortable. Kachina is literally steps from the canyon and trails. The check-in and out at El Tovar was easy. We ate dinner within the lounge at El Tovar and breakfast in the El Tovar restaurant - both were delicious. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
