Disappointing experience, almost a nightmare.

It looks like air-con was automated but it was not. No air-conditioning throughout the 3 nights of my stay which IS a nightmare!

位置很棒，全家出游，时间比较宽松，在这个酒店还是很合适的，可以自己做饭，离Whole food Market步行大概15分钟。如果在网上预订后分到合适的房间感觉会很不错。一旦有问题找客服就很麻烦，需要打电话联系，而且不解决问题。我们当时的房间靠街道，特别吵，而且窗帘是百叶窗，根本不遮光（路灯晚上一直亮着），打电话联系，说好第二天给换房间的，一直也没有给换，要求延期一天住宿，答应了要发邮件确认的，一直也没发。

Ok - good location, everything else poor

The apartment was very clean and in a fantastic location – only a 3-minute walk from the White House. Having an in-unit washing machine was also a rare and useful perk. However, there are several important things to be aware of. This is not a hotel, but a residential building. There is no reception or on-site customer service, so if you encounter issues, you’re on your own. On check-in, you are simply handed a key, and that’s it. The biggest frustration was parking. The advert and email I received before arrival stated to “pull a ticket at the garage and pay the overnight rate ($28).” In reality, the garage is run by an attendant, it closes at 11pm, and you’re expected to check in with them first (which I was never told). I arrived at 10:55pm and was met with a very unhelpful and rude attendant who was upset I hadn’t checked in earlier. The whole process was unclear and stressful, and I ended up being charged $30 per night instead of the $28 advertised. Finally, while the apartment was spotless, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, while the location and cleanliness were excellent, the lack of transparency, poor parking experience, uncomfortable beds, and absence of customer service let this stay down.

Good Sized Clean Apartment in Great Location!

The location was fantastic! Within walking distance to all the attractions. Right across the street from the White House. Good size apartment with full kitchen. It was clean, but bring your own blankets, some pillows have feathers for those with allergies. The Concierge is not very helpful like the front desk attendant at a hotel.

Recommend; Would Return

The Global Luxury Suites at The White House‘s location was great, it is only a couple of blocks away from the White House which gives plenty of options for people to do things and eat at (the Cheesecake Factory is literally right next door). The rooftop views were awesome, parking was convenient as it was in the same building, and it is spacious. The only down falls we had was some outlets were loose and not working, no USB chargers, a bedroom door could not be closed as there was a cord in the doorway that connected to the WiFi and cleanliness could of been a little bit better. These are easy fixes that I believe will be addressed.

I did not realize this was NOT a hotel, until I arrived. The apt was fine, but lacked items: no bathing soap, no detergent for laundry, no towels for hand-drying dishes, no extra trash bags, etc. There were sheets for sofa bed, but no top cover for warmth. Speaking of warmth, living room area AC failed to cool. Maintenance left a note while we were out, detailing a repair, but soon after, it failed again. I emailed, but no response. The unit was perfectly located, and the front desk staffer was great. Overall, we made it work, but some guests may not be as patient.

First of all this property worked great for my daughter and I. She had her own space and I had mine. 2nd, the location was great, lots of restraunts and shopping around and very close to DC sites. The room: beds were fantastic, water presure in the shower was great as was temperature. The apt needs some care. 1 bedroom lamp was broken ( had been for awhile) and looked all crooked. There was tape on the master bath wall and mildew on the shower curtain. Kitchen was well equiped only thing was microwave lights were burnt out, no night light. The main issue is the noise, even though we were 10 stories up, it sounded like we were on the ground floor with a window open. In the city there are ALWAYS alot of sirens, multiple ones every hour and it was pretty loud in the apt. Not sure what could be done about that, it was more an inconvience than a problem, as I sleep well and my daughter had ear plugs, so I would recommend those. While we had 2 sets of keys, we only had 1 fob and you need that for main door, rooftop patio and the gym, so that was a little bit of a hassle. All in all, the property was nice and fitted our needs.

This is an excellent location. One block from the White House! The apartment is in a beautiful building with Cheesecake Factory next door. There is a coffee shop connected to the lobby which is charming. I would recommend this lodging!

I should’ve stayed at a hotel.

I felt like an unwanted step child in this apartment. I arrived about 5:00pm. Security handed me an envelope and that was it. I went to go find my apartment for the next 3 weeks. It was definitely a lot smaller than the pictures. And a wonderful surprise against the wall. A full sized crib where a dining table should have been! I have no children and never requested a crib! Turned on the living room tv and no picture. Tried different things, finally decided to check all the connections and yeah, all the cables were disconnected. That was fun connecting them. The bedroom. Felt like a carnival ride. The dresser sloped down towards the middle, 2 drawers were missing the handles, one was slightly broken. Not sure how the tv didn’t topple from the sad dresser drooping. The incredible thing here is how the bed was exactly the same as dresser, broken in the middle and drooping. Sat on the edge of the bed, that’s fine. Went to lie down and that dip in the middle, was a little scary. I was exhausted and knew that no one would come help Saturday night. The apartment is obviously the sad rental that no one really takes care of. The touch up paint didn’t even try to match the wall, the scratches, broken string on the bedroom blinds, sad lamps and the legs on the glass end tables that fall off, I almost cried. Did call them to remove the crib, but I didn’t want to try and get a different apartment since I figured this was the best they could do. I made the best out of it.

連泊しましたが、清掃やタオルの交換、水のペットボトルの補充はありませんでした。テレビがありましたが、リモコンの電池が切れていて使えませんでした。携帯の充電コードを借りようとしましたが、ありませんでした。ロケーションはよく、部屋も広いですが、サービスは一切ないということでした。ラグジュアリーという名前とは別のものと思いました。
