This "hotel" is to be redone completely. Let's start with the check-in. The young man at the reception (not particularly friendly or welcoming) asked me to show him my receipt with Hotel.com. Should they not have that already?? First time ever that I book with a third-party site and the hotel wants to see proof of payment. Then the room: clean, yes, but with splatters of paint all over the floor, the fridge did not work, the toilet might have been cleaned or not, hard to say, no spigot on the faucet, splashing water all over. Best of the best: the mattress lays on a plank of plywood, and the pillows (one per person) are super small. The TV: you have either to pay for everything or log in if you have already Netflix or Amazon. Then, there was not one garbage bin in the room.
On the following day, a family member checked in in another room. Her bed consisted of 3 mattresses piled on on top of each other, but the room was clean, and it would have been OK for one night, but then we saw that the bathroom floor was covered in water, caused by a leak from the toilet. We called the reception, and were curtly advised that there is no other room available. We went down to the reception and miraculously were given a key for another room. This room was similar to ours (plywood bedframe etc.), but on top of it, there was no curtain for the bathtub. We gave up and our family member decided to stay there.
In a nutshell: good for young backpack travelers, bad for families and older people!
