Nice clean room. Nice hotel. I was worried about the area but the hotel itself is very nice and clean. Walking distance to a lot. No on site parking. But they do offer Valet parking for a fee. Kinda pricey but all of San Francisco is pricey. We felt safe. The area has a lot of homeless and the alleys and back maybe don't go down that way, too many homeless. Other than that we enjoyed our 2 night stay. Hotel price was lower than most I found. We would definitely stay here again. It was just my husband and I .

Stayed 2 nights with family (young children) not an ideal location for families. There were a lot of homeless people compared to other areas. Witnessed drug use while walking a few feet from the property. This Hampton is also not like the usual ones we’ve stayed at, it seems a lot smaller, no natural light and just a bit cramped. Breakfast was the same both days except the waffle batter lol. We did pay for valet parking and our car was kept safe. They did also bring it out in a timely manner whenever we needed it.
