The breakfast was excellent. The check-in process could be improved. (Upon arrival to the hotel, guests need to call to receive an access code to get in the front door of the hotel. I would recommend including the code in the booking confirmation, which would make arrival smoother and more convenient for the guests). I also recommend to purchase a seat for the toilet that fits the toilet in the room we had. (I add a picture so you see what I mean).

I stayed here 21 years ago and was glad to see with new owners it is still a lovely, quaint place to stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom remodeled. Wood floors and the classic style is so much nicer than a standard hotel. The breakfast was very good and the location is close to shopping. I will stay again when we visit Norrkoping.

Great value and good location

A great boutique hotel walking distance from city center (Söder Tull station, Library and Spiralen Shopping Center). It's also next door to the city swimming centre. Rooms are very fresh with big screen tv. Breakfast is fairly good as well considering the small amount of rooms it serves. Reception not staffed evenings but check-in process was smooth anyway.

Communication in advance was difficult at first, but was ultimately successful. Thankfully, it was possible to check in before the official time. As the house is located on a busy road, it is very noisy when the windows are open. The breakfast was good and adequate.

Past its prime

The hotel felt a bit like it was past its glory days. A lot of furniture that felt like it was in need of replacement. A weird mix of very nice time pieces that fit the old style of the building with IKEA leather chairs & tables that looked like they were placed just to fill space. Staff was lovely and friendly and doing their best but they felt very nervous. During breakfast there was not a second where they weren’t hovering around the very small buffet space refilling the food every other minute. If you took some orange juice, immediately this would disappear into the kitchen to be refilled & replaced. Creating even less space to get food or drinks. You couldn’t leave your table for a second to get a refill without the chance of your plate disappearing because of a nervous overly active cleaning of tables. I was feeling completely stressed out by the end of breakfast instead of relaxed. The cleanliness was also so so. We found hair in the shower drain that wasn’t ours. Which made us wonder how clean the rest of the room was. Even after they cleaned our room for a second time the hair was still there. Overall not a place I would stay at again. And very surprised it got a 9.2 by hotels.com

Under frukosten gick ägaren runt med plasthandskar på sig som hon hanterade mat med men även gick runt och tog sina nycklar, gick in i rum och sitt ansikte. Ohygieniskt.
