clean and modern design

Room inside designed really modern style. Not like the outside looking. Not really spacious but big enough. Hardwood floor which is really clean and nice. The only one concern is that the room card/key needs to be reactivated too often.

Good value booking

Came into town for a concert and booked a room based on price and location. Used room for basically getting ready for the concert and sleep; it was a good value based on our needs. Staff allowed me to borrow an iron (I had to leave my ID with her) from the front desk. Complaints would be overall had a lot of cosmetic flaws, my bed sheet had a cigarette burn on it, and the noise of other tenants and homeless in the area.

My experience at this Motel 6 in Sacramento was an absolute nightmare from start to finish, made infinitely worse by a complete lack of compassion from the staff. **The Problem Started Immediately:** I checked in with a broken leg, clearly visible and in a brace. I politely asked the receptionist, Sonia, if it was possible to have a room on the first floor due to my mobility issue. Her response was not just unhelpful; it was shockingly rude. She barked at me, "I only have a room on the second floor. Do you want it, or do you want me to cancel it?" No apology, no attempt to problem-solve, just pure hostility. I was exhausted and in pain, so I had no choice but to take it. **The Key Fiasco:** The next day, my key card deactivated (apparently they stop working if you keep them near your phone—a fact no one bothers to tell you). I called the front desk and explained the situation to, you guessed it, Sonia. I reminded her that I had a broken leg and asked if someone could come up to reactivate my key or let me into my room. Her response was cold and dismissive: "We don't have room service for that. You have to come down here." Not impressed

I reserved a single queen because I'm disabled and have a service animal. I did not ask for a disabled room because I wanted to soak in a tub. I don't know why there was a disabled shower because there would not be enough room for use of mobility devices. I was not made aware there was a pet deposit and that they only accept credit/debit cards. I had cash and Google pay. In the morning, by the time I went to get a cup of coffee, they were out and wouldn't make more. When I got back to my room, my key card had been deactivated hours before check out time and I had to go back to the office to get it reactivated so I could get my stuff! Saw a few cockroaches, too.
