Highly recommended

We were made very welcome, our room was lovely and warm (important as it was very cold and frosty), lovely and clean. Bathroom with a bath, but no shower. Large, comfortable bed. Very cosy. Breakfast was great and kept us going on our 10 mile walk that day. We had a lovely evening meal in the pub, which was well cooked and presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice friendly stay while visiting Chiltern Winery

This is a great place to view for a visit Chiltern Winery. Especially if walking - and you can do the hill as all uphill there and all downhill back. Service was so welcoming and food was excellent. One of the best English breakfasts at a hotel ever for me - going on quality. Room was.comfortable and as you would expect from a village pub. Convenient back door so didnt have to walk through pub with bags. Also the host was extremely responsive to questions before the stay.

Very friendly helpful staff. Had lunch which was lovely. Views from garden seating area beautiful. Only disadvantage was right on road which was bit busy.

Little hidden treasure

Absolutely beautiful little place and area. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, couldn't do enough for you. Very clean, tidy Inn with a beautiful fireplace. The food was amazing! Absolutely delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again! Very dog friendly. Superb!

Really nice

With only three bedrooms and off the beaten track, it’s a quiet, intimate place to stay. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Best English breakfast I’ve had in a long while.
