Our breakfast was NOT free. It was quite expensive but variety was wonderful. Room Was very clean and comfortable. Outstanding location close to many of the attractions, key public transportation (tram, train and metro). The staff was super friendly and helpful!! Always smiling and in solution mode. Everything about this quaint hotel is first-rate, and the staff makes you feel welcome immediately. The small lobby is clean, the lifts are a good size, and the rooms are Euro-modern. It is superbly situated with easy access to Bairro Alto, a score of cafes, Plaza Luís de Camões, Santa Justa Lift to access Plaza Dom Pedro IV, and the Bica Funicular to access the waterfront. Also, the Rossio Railroad Station is just a few blocks downhill with several trains per day directly to Sintra. The front desk staff and restaurant manager were superb and were genuinely interested in providing us with the best experience. We will definitely be back.
