Nice and cozy

Very cozy place with warm pool and great breakfast. Go for the rooms facing the lake (102-110 as I remember). They are standard rooms and the best value. We stayed there twice and the second time we paid a little more for a superior room - don’t do that, there is nothing superior about it. Otherwise a good place in a peaceful town.

Riktigt bra hotell med exotisk frukost

Fantastiskt hotell med den mest exotiska frukosten vi någonsin haft. Lokala råvaror som bär och olika viltkött/korv. Högsta betyg! Vi hade planerat att åka vidare men ändrar oss och stannar en natt till här.

Mycket trevlig vistelse! Bekväma rum, trevlig personal mm. Har bott här flera gånger förut och kommer åter. Det bästa är att i garderoben hittade vi en bordsfläkt!! Super trevligt att ha den i 25 graders värme! Ligger väldigt fint med en resturang i huset och en Kåtakåta på andra sidan gatan med utsikt över sjön.

Aamiainen alkoi vasta klo 7 mikä on liian myöhään, mutta aamupalapussi oli valmiina vastaanotossa ja se oli ihan OK. Hyvä, että sain ottaa kahvia mukaan pari kuppia. Jatkossa aamiaisten aikainen saatavuus( klo 5 tai 6 alkaen) ratkaisee hotellivalintani.

Fick bädda extrasängen själv. Dåligt urval på bröd endadt ljus franska och baconet var mer kokt än stekt och kaffet var inte riktigt varmt, beskt och svagt inte godkänd frukost. Bra bad och bastu. Trevlig restaurang i anslutning Laponiakåtan fantastisk mat.

Disappointing

Despite having pre-paid, the person at check-in could not find our reservation. We showed her our confirmed reservation from hotels.com but she refused to give us a room until she could find us in the hotel’s system. We had arrived late evening so prompt access to our room would have been welcome. The person at check-in was very apologetic, but was not authorised to fix the problem. It is daylight at midnight, but the curtains were not wide enough to cover the window. We do not expect complete darkness, but the room was bright enough for me to read my analog wristwatch at 1.00am. The room for was hanging squint so there was light coming in from the corridor along the top of the door. That was not a problem in terms of comfort but it did betray a lack of attention to maintenance. We stayed here two years ago. I don’t think we’ll be back.
