We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Engadina! It was clean and only a 5 minute walk from the center of Como. The hotel could use some updating but the room itself was perfect for a weekend getaway. It was a great value for location and the staff was friendly.

Although the rooms are fairly small, they are comfortable. The noise from the street is very loud and persistent all night long so wear ear plugs if you get a room streetside. The breakfast was lovely with excellent cappuccino & espresso and a nice selection of meats and pastries. It is very close to the San Giovanni train station which is a plus. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Un hotel correcto para pasar una noche en Como

El hotel es correcto, tanto en la habitación, como en el servicio. Indicaba que había aparcamiento disponible, pero se trataba de la zona azul de los alrededores. Por suerte, a la hora que llegamos, ya no se pagaba hasta por la mañana. El desayuno muy bien. No era buffet, pero te traían de todo a la mesa. La situación del hotel es muy buena. Está cerca del lago y paseando tienes una zona de restaurantes a pocos minutos.

This hotel was conveniently located just minutes from the train station and also a place called Osella Bella, which has a partnership with Bounce. This is a hostel that allows you to store your luggage, since this is not available at the train station. This was great for me since I did not want to carry two heavier pieces of luggage with me for a day and a half trip to Lake Como. It was very affordable too. Literally located down the same street from this hotel. The breakfast was very good and the staff was friendly and very helpful. Close to some great restaurants, but if you are there on a weekend, you must have reservations. I finally got a seat at the 5th restaurant I tried.

It was ok, the hotel is near to the old town, the breakfast was also ok and the staff was nice… But….. There are 2 rooms on the ground floor. The doors of these 2 rooms is so close to each other. We‘ve got the one of them. In the night 2 am the hotel accepted new guests for the other room. The receptionist ask in front of our door the passports of the new guests and have some conversations. It was so noisy!!!! Disrespectful !!! I’m not sure that I will chose this hotel for the next time…
