Not the great motel choice I though

Upon arriving at the room, I was met with a sense of unease, as it was undergoing renovations and did not meet my expectations for comfort. The towel provided was visibly soiled, and only one was available. As we prepared to retire for the night, we discovered that the floor was also heavily soiled. Given our fatigue from a long and arduous journey, we opted to use our own sheets and blankets rather than risk moving to a different motel. Unfortunately, the morning floor remained in a state of disarray, preventing us from taking a shower and preparing for our departure with a sense of comfort. The nightlight beside the bed was malfunctioning, as the light was flickering and burned out. The bed felt as if it was bending, and it appeared to be a 20-30 year old mattress, which made it uncomfortable to sleep all night.

I checked in yesterday after one hour I checked out. That one hour i asked for cleaning supplies to clean the room I checked out because the room was unsanitary, don’t even know why they are still in business. The doors don’t close properly! By the way i was in room 24

I do not usually give reviews on hotels, or really take the opinion of others too much into consideration when booking a hotel. People all have different levels of expectation. For $90 a night, I did have low expectations, but I did not expect to have one towel for hands/face and showering between two people and did not expect to have to use my own pillow because theirs were blood and mould stained.

The day before I arrived, someone from the hotel called my cellphone and I wondered why they were calling - I never had a hotel call, ASKING if I was going to check in. I thought it was really strange, but when I arrived, I saw how run down the place was and wanted to bolt, but I didn’t. I got to the room and it smelled someone was living there that never bathed, the bed quilt had cigarette burns on it and I could barely move inside the bathroom. I urge anyone not to stay here. It’s really unsanitary and you’d be better sleeping in your car.

This is a cheap motel. It is ok - not somewhere I would jump at staying again, but I wouldn't specifically avoid it either. Would be fine for a 1 night passing through. The microwave and fridge didn't work well, and while they've done a great job replacing the floors there is a lot of work still to do.

I did not expect it to be good when i was looking for motel but this motel was really terrible only one lamb was on and other lambs were not working . Bed was not even clean it was full of dirt even pillows had some kind of blood stains and sofa , bathroom nothing was cleaned properly didnt feel like staying there for a minute . I was travelling from ottawa got stuck in snow thats why i booked this motel just to relax and take rest .At the end , i ended booking this motel which is not even worth to pay 20$ for 80$i would like to get refund for this
