Lovely, lovely, little Lathkil. At first, we feared Google was taking us into the wilds of Derbyshire never to be seen again. How wrong we were; Lathkil, originally The Miner's Arms (1828), is a delightful, cosy, and beautifully done up gem. Views of the dales, and of grazing sheep. Easy access to walking trails. Good food. Friendly hosts. Beware: steep steps to the guest rooms. Would definitely revisit.
