good for travelers who loved history

it is in the old town center and just next to the main attractive points like cathedral. as it is a building over 500 years old, so no lift but wooden stairs only (but this is the reason i stay here). Shared toilet and bathroom is good (and you can enjoy the cathedral view when you are "relaxing").

Great location, attentive staff. The building is really old and floors uneven, gaps in door frames add to its unique charm. Cathedral right in back and Evensong is recommend to hear the organ and choir. Bell ringing practice is Thursday night and goes on for some time. I had a great stay!

Special location with all the amenities.

Very friendly, available and helpful. Accommodated my husband's knee issues by putting us on a floor which didn't require too many stairs. A very special location, right next to the entrance to the cathedral in a central square. The continental breakfast was outstanding with beautiful fresh fruit, yogurts etc. We enjoyed the little bar at the end of the day, where we could overlook the square in comfortable seats. I would definitely stay here again.

This historic building in the heart of Canterbury is only made better by the excellent, friendly & v helpful staff. Rob was particularly helpful. Breakfast in my room was an added bonus. Highly recommended

Five star service! A quirky 15th century timber framed building a stone’s throw from the Cathedral. Very welcoming and helpful staff, generous (complimentary bottled water and toiletries), tasty breakfast. Parking was easy with their anpr voucher system. Great value for money in the heart of Canterbury. Would happily stay her again.
