This hotel is perfect for visiting Iguazu Falls. They offered free airport pickup which was great too. The concierge was brilliant and organised my tickets for the national park and also the Macuco Safari. I had the breakfast as well and the selection was huge and tasted great. Unremarkable experience in this Hotel Colonial Iguazu. Hotel staff don't speak and can't understand English. It was difficult to communicate. In addition receptionists aren't friendly, they never said "Good morning". The conditions of the room weren't that good, very old fornitures (doors, shower...) and we didn't find the floor clean when we first entered. The price is good and so the food (we had breakfasts and lunches).

The hotel location is good, about 15-20 minute walk to the Iguazu National Park ticketing area. The hotel is very basic in terms of building and room conditions and facilities. It is also far from city but very close to the airport. You get what you pay for so if your spending a couple of days visiting waterfalls and the bird park, and don’t want to pay for luxury, it’s ok to sleep and eat here.

The advertisement pictures are from the opening of the hotel when everything was fresh and new , all and all the hotel is rundown and not clean . The only good is the location close to the national park.
