I am a disabled veteran and stay frequently at this hotel.I like this place and have always found it to be affordable with a friendly staff and recommended to others.I've stayed here more than 12 times in last year.This stay was very different.I found an adult Roach in bathtub and later a juvenile Roach in the sink.I didn't mention this because I was more concerned about No heat. At first Front desk clerk,who I've dealt with before and has been great, was awesome and let me check in early! Then he later had a seriously bad attitude after i told him the heat in my room wasn't working. I called him "Bro" (he was a white guy) because previously we had had many cordial interactions. He proceeded to tell me I wasn't his "Bro" and other unprofessional comments. When I said I didn't appreciate his attitude and was considering checking out since I had only been there for less than 20 minutes and hadn't messed up the bed or used any towels, ect., I was told"Go ahead, but you will Not be getting a refund!".Since I am a Disabled Army Vet on a fixed income, I couldn't afford to lose the money I had already paid for my room as well as the cost and extreme inconvenience of finding another room somewhere else.He did eventually relocate me.In the next room the heat did work, but I also found an adult Roach in the bath tub.Then another baby one in the sink.With Roaches, if you see one there's way more.There were also multiple stains on the carpeting and the refrigerator didn't work.
