It's in a great location if you're looking for a quieter side of town, and very safe. Bakery across the road, bus to other beaches passes right by, and a nice restaurant - Pelikano - just down the block overlooking the river. The footbridge means you can be in the main swell of BC in minutes. I really enjoyed my stay as a solo traveller and completely recommend this place.
