We stayed three nights in a Deluxe Villa, and from the moment we arrived the facilities, location, and layout were absolute perfection 👌
As advised, we pre-ordered all our food in advance due to the remote location. On our second night (Christmas Eve), however, our dinner was forgotten and eventually arrived cold at around 9pm. This was particularly disappointing as I had planned to propose that evening, and the hotel was aware of this in advance.
When we tried calling reception, it was unattended for around 1.5 hours with no answer via phone or mail, and at the same time the water supply was also shut off, which is super sad on Christmas Eve and wanting to use the spa or sauna etc.
The following day, Christmas Day, our lunch was also completely forgotten. With no shops nearby, this meant we had no food from breakfast until evening.
As compensation, we were not charged for, the meals that were not delivered…
It was a real pity, as everything else about the stay was wonderful. If the food logistics are improved and the fire alarm is moved from directly above the bed (the bright light is quite disruptive), this place would easily be a 10/10.
