There was a huge parking debacle when we arrived, no one at the reception desk, except for two kiosks that said in big words “out of order”. Then we were told in order to park there we needed a UK telephone number and we are from the US so that wasn’t possible. The signs in the parking area were ambiguous and not helpful at all… And all the trash and rubbish in that area was particularly offputting. It took about 35 minutes to actually find someway to park and check into the room. When we tried to order dinner from the menu in the room we were told only about seven options were available off of the entire menu. We weren’t told ahead of time that the rooms would not be serviced unless we requested it so on our second day we were careful to requested, but the next day we were told they were busy cleaning the second floor and would not get to ours. No service. Shameful.

Het hotel was oké en de locatie is perfect, maar er is geen eigen parkeergelegenheid. Daarnaast is alles klein en gedateerd. Ik zou hier niet opnieuw voor kiezen.

Me ayudaron para guardar mi bicicleta y que no estuviera en la calle expuesta al robo. Sin ella no hubiera podido continuar mi viaje. Fueron muy amables en todo. Y el Bufet exquisito.

Comfortable stay

Room was big enough for 3 person, cleaned well. The wifi was not steady but we could use anyway. Parking was too limited we used public car park 10 min walking from hotel.

Newly refurbished and clean rooms

Newly furbished hotel in the heart of Canterbury. Good was clean and comfortable and location was walking distance to the attractions. Overall Good value for money.
